Shipping policy
Current processing times:
Ebikes: Up to 5 business days for processing
Non-Ebike orders: Within 1-2 business days, usually within 24 hours
Order Confirmation
A shipping confirmation email or text message will be sent to the email address or phone number attached to your order once the order has shipped. Please note that for any third-party shipping outside of our normal shipping process, Emachinez cannot provide ANY additional shipping information or documentation.
Shipping Costs and Lithium-Ion Batteries
We are happy to offer free shipping on most orders of $50 or more* to addresses (No PO Box) within the 48 continental United States, including many bikes. Shipping to destinations outside the 48 continental United States is based on package weight and size. Due to shipping carrier regulations around high-capacity lithium-ion batteries, we cannot ship ebikes, or ebike batteries, outside of the 48 continental United States.
Addresses to Which We Ship
We are able to ship most orders to all 50 states of the United States and U.S. Territories. We ship to physical addresses in the 48 continental United States. Generally speaking, we DO NOT ship to PO Boxes within the lower 48 continental United States. We will ship to PO Boxes outside of the lower 48, with some items being an exception. We reserve the right to cancel any order that we deem to have excessive shipping costs associated with a shipment.
Due to shipping carrier regulations around high-capacity lithium-ion batteries, we cannot ship ebikes or ebike components, including but not limited to batteries, displays and controllers, outside of the 48 continental United States.
Shipping Carriers
Emachinez generally ships using UPS, FedEx and USPS, based on the size/weight of your order and your delivery address. We’ll ship your order in a single box whenever possible, but occasionally we’ll need to send multiple shipments: for example, if you’ve ordered several large/bulky items.
Signature Required for Battery Shipments
While bike shipments do not require a signature, by law a signature is required in order to receive the shipment of an individual battery.
No Responsibility for Loss, Theft, or Damage
Please note Emachinez will not be held responsible or liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items due to the actions or inactions of UPS, FedEx or any other parcel service. We offer package insurance that can be purchased through Route to protect your purchase from any such shipping incident such as theft or damage.
Fraud Prevention
In an effort to prevent fraud, if a billing and shipping address do not match, then we will attempt to contact customer via phone or email in order to verify the address in question. If we are unable to contact you within 10 days we reserve the right to cancel the order and assess a credit card processing fee for the cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel any order we deem to be at risk of fraud, whether determined as such by fraud risk analyzing software or our own determination.
Address Changes
We do not change addresses on any order. If you have made a mistake the order will need to be canceled, refused or return to sender(please see Returned to Sender/Refusal Fee). Once we receive the item or items back we will refund you in 3-5 business days.
E-Bike Refused Shipments/ Return to Sender – Flat Fee
If you refuse delivery of an order that you asked us to ship to you, we reserve the right to charge a 5% credit card processing fee and a flat fee of up to $250 per ebike to partially cover our shipping costs. We cannot change, intercept, or cancel orders that have already shipped. If you refuse delivery, we will treat your order as a return if it arrives back to us and issue a refund for the purchase price via your original payment method, less the fees mentioned above. Please note, in order to receive a refund, you must notify Emachinez via email of any shipment refusal. Failure to do so will cause a significant delay in the receipt of your refund for any refused items.
